Varsha & Adi’s Take

Neev itself means “Foundation” and the school impressed us with its Interest and choice learning program in which the students get to choose what they want to learn. While we also get that the fees are relatively high, the quality justifies it. You should also visit the school and attend open houses to learn more about them. However, it is one of the best international schools in Bangalore if you are looking for the best quality education and all-around development for your child.

What’s Special?

What we found as the standout feature of this school is its comprehensive music program, which nurtures students’ musical talents and offers a wide range of opportunities to explore and excel in music, from elementary to high school, including jazz band and IB music. They have all the latest equipment and teachers to help students polish their talent.

Google Review

The school has an overall rating of 3.9 stars based on 133 reviews, which is a considerable amount of reviews.
One review said they loved the neatly maintained campus and it made them forget they were in Bangalore. Another one said their children enjoy their time at school and love going to school daily.
However, we know there’s always a negative in the mix. One parent expressed concerns about the school’s parking system and how it always wasted time picking up and leaving children. But, the school replied to them and apologised for the inconvenience and said they’ll improve soon.

School Stats

  • The school’s Director, Mrs. Shweta Sastri, is a dedicated and strong leader and has been with the school since 2006. It was a delightful experience meeting her.
  • We saw personalised attention and guidance to the students as they have a 7:1 student-teacher ratio, which is pretty solid.
  • It is a day cum boarding school and caters for students from Nursery to higher secondary.
  • The school is affiliated with the IGCSE and IB curriculum and offers foreign languages like Vietnamese and French too.
  • Located in Yelahanka, Bengaluru. If you live nearby, then it is worth a visit.

What Have They Got?

  • The school emphasises the value of educational athletics and offers a wide range of sports for students from Grade 2 to Grade 12.
  • They host an Annual Student Golf Tournament, giving kids from different places a chance to have fun, play golf, and show their skills.
  • Their counsellors are here to help students feel their best, whether it’s talking one-on-one, in groups, or with families.
  • At CIS, they’ve got a bunch of cool clubs for students to explore their interests and talents, plus, it’s a break from regular studies, and IB students can work on their CAS portfolios during great club time.
  • Experiential Learning at school is like taking what you learn in class and bringing it to life, whether it’s composting, exploring new places, or meeting interesting people.

The average annual school fee is around Rs.6,30,000 but it also depends on which grade your kid is in and whether you take boarding facilities or not.

We suggest asking yourselves, ‘What do you want for your kid in Bangalore?’ Make a list of the ‘must  haves’ and the ‘nice  to  haves.’

Also, don’t be shy, talk to everyone! Friends and neighbours in Bangalore may have some thoughts. Check online too, but remember, reviews are like opinions, everyone’s got one! Oh, school visits! Take a tour, meet the teachers, ask questions, and see if it clicks in Bangalore. Open houses are super helpful too, you’ll learn about what they teach and meet other parents.

And don’t forget the money talk school fees are just the tip of the iceberg in Bangalore. There are uniforms, field trips, and the occasional surprise costs. Stay on top of the applications, they may be followed by an interview. When it comes to interviews, just being yourself is the key, even for kids.

But really, you can’t go wrong with any of these international Bangalore schools, as they are the best in Bangalore. Let us know which one you end up enrolling your kid in!
