4. Exam Pattern of JEE Exam

JEE Mains

In Paper 1, is for aspirants who want to pursue, each subject has two sections: Section A and B. Section A contains 20 multiple-choice questions and Section B contains 10 numerical value questions from each subject. Candidates are required to attempt only 5 questions from Section B.

In Paper 2 (A), is for aspirants who want to pursue B.Architecture. There are 20 multiple-choice questions for Mathematics and 10 numerical-based questions, out of which candidates attempt 5. The Aptitude section consists of 50 multiple-choice questions, and the drawing section is conducted offline and consists of 2 questions.

In Paper 2 (B), which is for B.Planning entrance, the total number of questions is 105. The aptitude section has 50 multiple-choice questions, and in the planning test, 25 multiple-choice questions are there.

JEE Advanced
