Step1: Outline the fruit
Start by drawing a slightly curved line. Now draw another curved line parallel to it. Then join those two lines at the top with an inverted ‘U’ as shown in the image.
Step 2: Finish the outline
Now close the bottom end of the banana by drawing the stem of the fruit. Bring those two parallel curved lines together and close it by drawing a rectangular shape with rounded edges.
Step 3: Draw the peel
Now let’s start drawing the banana peel. Imagine your banana is half peeled. Draw two leaf-like shapes from the middle of the banana.
Step 4: Draw more details
Draw similar leaf-like shapes coming out from behind the banana. Complete the peels by drawing a curved line underneath one of the leaf-like shapes as shown in the image.
Step 5:Draw the face
Let’s bring our banana buddy to life by drawing a face. Draw two rainbow shapes for eyes. Then draw two tiny oval shapes underneath the eyes, and two tiny rectangles to form the eyebrows above the eyes. Then draw the banana’s mouth by drawing a bean-like shape with a curved line inside it to form the tongue as shown in the image.
To give it more details, draw a curved line in the middle of the banana’s peel. Draw another line on the stem.
Final Touches
Don’t forget to add a splash of colour to bring your banana to life! You can colour your banana using crayons, coloured pencils, or markers.
