2.Step-by-step guide on how to draw a car
Step 1
Let’s begin by drawing two parallel horizontal lines, with the lower line being longer than the upper one. These will form the basis of our car’s body. Next, grab a ruler and draw straight lines from the left corner, connecting the upper line to the left corner of the lower line, and repeat it on the right side as well to keep it symmetrical. Keeping your lines straight will add a sleek touch to your drawing, making it even cooler. Ready to add more details to our car? Let’s continue!
Step 2
Then, draw two circles on top of the sleeping line for the wheels of the car. Draw two windows next to each other inside the body of the car, closer to the roof as shown in the image. Don’t make your windows rectangular and boring, add some fun shapes like we’ve done! Refer to the image below.
Step 3
Inside each wheel, draw smaller circles for the barrels of the wheels.
Imagine the wheel of a car is like a big donut. The outside of the donut is where the tire goes, but inside the donut, there’s a smaller circle called the “barrel.”
Add a mirror on the left window. Draw a curve just like the one in the picture and you are all set! Also, draw two ovals below the two windows for the door handles.
Now, let’s add some headlights and a backlight on the body of the car. Draw a half circle beside the left wheel. Add another half-circle beside the right wheel.
Step 4
Take your black sketch pen and carefully trace around the whole car, including the windows, door handles, headlights, and mirrors. Remember to follow the lines you’ve already drawn and take your time. This will make your car drawing look super neat!
Step 5
Finally, it’s time to add some color to your car! You can choose any color combinations you like to make your car unique and colorful.
And there you have it! Your very own drawing of a car is complete. Great job!
Final Touches
To make your car look even more real, you can add some details like lines for the doors and windows, a license plate, or some shading to give it depth. Be creative and have fun with it!
