2. Step-by-Step guide to an easy Girl Drawing for Kids
Step 1: Draw the face of the girl
To draw a face, make an oval at the centre of the sheet. On the sides of the face, draw two semi-circles to show the ears of the girl.
Step 2: Draw hairline

- Make the outline of the hairs by making one semi-circle above the face. Add some splits into the part which is along with the forehead. For any confusion please refer to the picture.
- Draw two semi-circles to show the collar of the girl’s dress, just below the face.
Step 3: Make hands and dress
- From the collar, make two small diagonal lines and draw curved lines from the end of it. Connect the ends of the curved lines to complete the skirt. After connecting, make splits on the curved line ( the ends should like the pulse that we see on the hospital monitors)
- To draw hands, make curved lines extending out from the body.
Step 4: Draw legs, socks and hairs
- Make four lines from the end of the skirt, extend the lines downward to make the legs and make a small, oval shape at the end for the feet.
- Draw a straight line above the feet, to make socks.
- To make hairs, from ear make a straight line and then join it to the hands of the girl.
Step 5: It’s time to add some details
- We are going to start with hair and draw straight lines on the hair.
- To make eyes, make two small oval shapes in the centre of the face.
- To make the nose, draw a small curved line.
- Make a small semi-circle just below the eyes to make the mouth of the girl.
- To make buttons on the dress, make two small circles and add a small heart on either of the sides.
- Make two small oval shapes on the cheeks.
- Draw small lines,assume that you are making letter V inside both the ears.
Step 6: Add colours
It’s the most fun and best step.
- Add skin colour to the face, arms and legs. Add a brown or black colour to the hairs.
- For the dress, add any colour of your choice.
- For the eyes, make small circles and fill them with black colour.
Final Touches
Trace the outline of the eyebrow using a black sketch pen. Draw two small circles using pink colour to show cheeks. Colour the hairlines with black. On the ears, make a small letter V using the skin or black colour.
At the end, draw a square border.
Additionally, what you can do
- Instead of going for long hair, you can make two ponytails for the girl’s hair.
- You can draw a bag or a candy on the girl’s hand.
- You can make a girl’s dress more beautiful by drawing flowers or designs on the dress.
- Outline your drawing using a black sketch pen it will make your drawing look attractive.
