2. Step-by-Step guide to draw a Mango
Step 1- Draw the shape of Mango
Start by drawing a curved line to start with the outline of the mango, and remember that the line should be less curved. After that, join the two ends of the line just like you draw “C”. By this, you have made a simple outline of a mango.
Step 2: Draw eyes and stem
Let us give the mango a life by making its eyes and lips.
For eyes, you need to make two small circles in some distance and for lips, make a “D”, like you draw a horizontal line.
To draw a stem, make two lines that are parallel to each other and join the two ends of each line by making another curved line or making a “C” shape.
Step 3: Draw leaf and Eyebrows
Now, to draw a leaf, mark a center on the stem, and make two medium curved lines from both ends and join them. After joining the line, make a straight line in the center. You can refer to the picture for reference.
And don’t forget to make eyebrows by making two semi-circles above the eyes.
Step 4: Draw outline using black marker
Take a black sketch pen and carefully trace the lines you have made with the pencil, including the eyes and lips.
Step 5: Add colors
Now, it’s time to add colors to your drawing. For the body of the mango, we used yellow. For eyes we are using black, and you also have to make eyebrows using orange. For lips, we need to use a red color.
Color the stem with brown color and the leaf with dark green color.
Final Touches
To make your drawing more attractive, first, erase all the extra lines you have drawn with pencils. You can play more with adding colors and make sure you are doing it neatly. You can also go for color mixing to make it look more creative.
Additionally, what you can do
- You can draw an outline of a mango using black sketch pen to make it look more attractive.
- In addition to this, you can also draw a basket or a tray on which the mango is kept. This will make your drawing more attractive and more creative.
