2.Step-by-Step Guide on Elephant Drawing!

Step1: Draw the elephant’s face

Start by drawing a square with slightly rounded corners. This square will be the elephant’s face!

Step 2: Draw the elephant’s trunk

Now, draw the elephant’s trunk, Pick a point on the bottom of the elephant’s face and start drawing a curve in the form of a tail and connect it to another point on the bottom of the elephant’s face. It’s like drawing a giant quotation mark. You can refer to the picture given below.

Step 3: Draw the elephant’s ears and body

Next, let’s draw the elephant’s ears and body. Make three ovals, two at the top corners on each side of the face and one at the bottom of the face as shown in the image. Make sure to not overlap the circles with the elephant’s face. The circles are the two big ears and the body of the elephant. Look at the picture below to see how it’s done!

Step 4: Draw the Elephants legs

Time to bring the elephant to life! Let’s draw the legs, eyes, tail and eyebrows.

So for the legs, super simple, we are going to draw 3 rectangles on the lower side of its belly we drew in the last step. Ofcourse, one of the hind legs is hidden!

For that cute little tail, we draw a slanting line from the right-hand side of the elephant’s body. How cute does that look!

Next up, the face. Inside the square face, draw 2 small circles and 2 inverted U’s on top of each of the circles for the eyebrows. You can color the circles in black for the eyes.

Step 5: Tracing the entire body of the Elephant

Now, take a black sketch pen and carefully trace over the lines of the elephant’s face and body. Make sure to trace around the corners neatly. Then, erase any parts of the original drawing that are overlapping. This will make the elephant look nice! Check the picture below to see how it looks!

Step 6: Color time!

Now comes the fun part – coloring! You can use the colors shown in the picture below to make the elephant look cute, or you can use your own favorite colors. Make sure to color inside the lines neatly. Don’t forget to add some rosy cheeks to make the elephant extra adorable! Let your creativity shine!

Final Touches

Now that you’ve drawn your elephant, it’s time to add some special details! You can make the elephant’s trunk and ears look more realistic by drawing some lines to show wrinkles. Make the eye shine by adding a small dot of white. If you want, draw some grass, tree or forest in the background. You can even draw a cute butterfly or bird sitting on the elephant’s trunk! These small touches will make your drawing look amazing! So take your time and enjoy adding these final details to your elephant picture!
