2.Stepwise tutorial of Tiger Drawing

Step1: Outline the Tiger

Let’s start by drawing a straight line in the middle of the page. Now draw two horizontal lines parallel to each other. Make the second line a little longer than the first one.

Now draw a circle where the straight line passes through the first horizontal line. This will be the tiger’s face.

Next, draw three small oval shapes below the second horizontal line as shown in the image.

Step 2: Give the tiger a body

Let’s draw a rough sketch over the circle we draw marking the tiger’s face. Don’t worry about it being shabby, give the face a shaky appearance. Now join two lines connecting the face to the oval shapes we draw for the tiger’s paws. Draw a shaky line over the oval shapes as well. (We don’t want it to look like a perfect oval!)

Step 3: Draw the face and body

Erase the circle and oval shapes you drew first. Let’s give our tiger’s face and body more details!

Start with the face, draw two rough semi circles to give the tiger ears. Now draw two small circles over the horizontal line to give the tiger eyes. Right below the line, draw the nose and then draw two curves coming out from below the nose. Then draw two more semi circles, a smaller one and a little bigger one to draw the tiger’s mouth.

Move down to the body and draw the tiger’s paws. Mark its paws by drawing two small lines within each paw. Lastly, give it a tail which looks like a banana, coming out from behind the body, just above the horizontal line.

Step 4: Draw more details

Let’s make the tiger look more realistic by drawing some more details. Draw a smaller semi-circle within each ear and draw a curved line at the bottom.

Draw a curved line near each eye. Give it eyelids by drawing a line within each eye. Extend the curved lines you drew under the nose up to the eyes. Finally, draw the tiger’s nostrils by drawing two small curved lines in its nose.

Step 5: Draw the stripes

Have you seen those black stripes on a tiger’s body? Let’s give our tiger those stripes as well! Outline the stripes by drawing rough lines in the tiger’s body as shown in the image. Give the tiger’s face a few stripes over the eyes and on each side. These stripes will be filled with a dark color next.

Final Touches

Don’t forget to add a splash of color to bring your tiger to life! You can color your tiger using crayons, colored pencils, or markers. Get creative with patterns and colors your lion can be any color you imagine!

Done! Now take a step back and admire your work.

Tips and Tricks to Draw a Tiger

  • Take your time and have fun! Drawing is all about expressing yourself, so don’t worry about making it perfect.
  • If you make a mistake, don’t stress. Use your eraser and try again.

Conclusion

You’ve nailed drawing a tiger, good job! But don’t stop there. How about crafting a wild jungle scene for your tiger to roam in? Or maybe invent some cool tiger pals for it to hang out with? Let your imagination run as wild as the jungle itself, because with art, there are no limits! Keep sketching, keep exploring, and keep the creativity flowing!
